Buschjost trainee honoured by the WAGO Foundation: Best toolmaker

The former Buschjost trainee Felix Köster completed his examination as a toolmaker with very good results. For this reason, he has now been honoured as the best in his year in the Minden-Lübbecke district by the WAGO Foundation.

In 2014, a total of 38 trainees from the Minden-Lübbecke region achieved a result of 2.0 or better in their final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chamber of Trades respectively. At the end of October, the 35 best received an advancement prize from the WAGO Foundation in the GOP in Bad Oeynhausen.   

The WAGO Foundation, established by the Minden entrepreneur Wolfgang Hohorst in 1998, aims to support young men and women when they start out in working life. The advancement prize which is worth up to EUR 1,000.00 is awarded to the three best in their year in their apprenticeship professions. The prize is awarded in the Minden-Lübbecke district, the registered office of the WAGO production and administration site in Minden, in the Kyffhäuser district, the home of the WAGO production site in Sondershausen, Thuringia, and in the district of Nordhausen. Since it was established, the Foundation has already honoured more than 600 trainees from more than 110 different companies for their special achievements with a funding volume of more than EUR 430,000. 

The prize winners include, for instance, newly qualified industrial clerks, industrial mechanics, technical product designers, toolmakers, mechatronic engineers, process mechanics for plastic and rubber technology, construction mechanics and cutting mechanics. A total of 14 different apprenticeship professions are presented with awards by the WAGO Foundation.
