Direct solenoid actuation

Direct solenoid actuation

Valves with this type of actuation do not require any operating or differential pressure for the switching function, they can operate from 0 bar upwards.

Description of Function

The sealing element is directly connected to the core. When the solenoid is de-energised (valve in closed position) the sealing core is pressed onto the valve seat by the power of the spring, with the help of the fluid pressure.

Solenoid switched off
When the solenoid is energised the core is drawn in and the valve open.

Maximum operating pressure and flow depend directly on the seat diameter (ND) and the force of the solenoid.
