GHR was established in 1960 in Frankfurt am Main with the objective of selling the high-pressure valves of the English-owned company I.V. Pressure Controllers Ltd. (IVP) in German-speaking countries. The sale of level indicators from the company BAYHAM as well as the flow switches/relays and cast-iron/aluminium and stainless steel low-pressure regulators from the group ELETTA followed thereafter, all within a few years of each other.

In 1973, when the working environment became too small, GHR moved to a new and larger building in Ober-Mörlen, just outside of Frankfurt am Main. From the very beginning, GHR has emphasised the importance of a rich and well-stocked supply of equipment and spare parts as well as comprehensive service, for which all conditions have now been met.

With the integration of GHR into Charles Baynes plc. in 1993 as well as the affiliation to their valves and accessories, the Truflo International Group provides security and efficiency for the benefit of customers whilst also simultaneously expanding the product range to include additional valves from their own group production.

Since 2006, GHR has belongs to IMI plc. In the course of reorganising company divisions, GHR merged with Buschjost GmbH in Bad Oeynhausen. With an expanded product range and a stronger sales team, we want improve our offering and service for our customers.
