Long-term service with the company is a tradition at Buschjost GmbH (a company of IMI Precision Engineering). The company held a ceremony to honour 22 long-serving employees celebrating their company anniversaries for their collective 400 years of service, while saying goodbye to six employees who, with a combined 163 years of company service, are entering their well-earned retirement.

563 years is a long time. Time that each individual contributes with his or her commitment, ideas and unique personality. “This can no longer be taken for granted these days,” emphasised Oliver Wehking, Managing Director of Buschjost GmbH. “Each year, I am delighted to be able to honour so many employees celebrating their company anniversaries. This is a sign of satisfied employees who feel connected to our company.” Many of the employees have been with Buschjost since their training. “Over the years, you have ensured that we have developed into the company that we are today,” added Human Resources Manager Kirstin Schroller.

This year, Christian Bekemeier, Michael Debus, Waldemar Dumrau, Hedi Ben Ferjani, Johann Harms, Denny-Robert Jorra, Isabella Kipp, Marco Schmehl, Kirstin Schroller and Frank Stelloh celebrated ten years of company service. Peter Aufdemkamp, Uwe Dickwach, Wolfgang Eichhorn, Dieter Gradt, Dirk Küster, Uwe Kullack, Bernd Melchior, Eva Mozek, Jens Pestka, Hans-Jürgen Piontek, Oliver Schwalbe and Manfred Wehmeyer have already been with Buschjost for 25 years.

Wolfgang Eichhorn, Hans-Werner Kelle, Herbert Peters, Tadeusz Plachta, Ralf Rainer and Marianne Wilhelmstrop went into retirement.
