GHR Hochdruck-Reduziertechnik merges with Buschjost

GHR Hochdruck-Reduziertechnik GmbH, a renowned specialist in the field of high-pressure technology, is part of Buschjost GmbH since 1 March 2015. Both Buschjost and GHR belong to the British company IMI plc and are being merged as part of a restructuring programme initiated by the parent company.

To make optimum use of synergy effects, all business activities of GHR will be relocated to Bad Oeynhausen. The location in Ober-Mörlen (Hesse) will be closed. Nevertheless GHR clients can be assured that they will continue to benefit from well-known and reliable products. As a result of the merger Buschjost and GHR will be even better placed to work together to develop efficient solutions in the future, so clients will benefit from access to even more technology, resources and experience.

Buschjost innovations will be supplemented with pressure regulators, level indicators and flow monitors as well as overflow, proportional and high-pressure solenoid valves from the GHR product portfolio. This results in a wide range of products that can satisfy all customer requirements.

The restructuring programme of the parent company IMI plc introduces something else new: with immediate effect Buschjost and GHR will trade as IMI Precision Engineering. This new alignment within the IMI Group should further stimulate the exchange of best practice and innovation across the entire group and foster an even greater capacity to fulfil client wishes and requirements. The Group's product portfolio is also being restructured and merged under five product brands. In the future Buschjost products will be available under the brand IMI Buschjost, while GHR products will be available under IMI Norgren.

IMI Precision Engineering represents close partnership, innovative high performance products and reliability – this is called Engineering GREAT.

An overview of GHR high-pressure products is available in section "Valves – Product category – High-pressure valves".
