Buschjost has been nominated for: Major Medium-Sized Business Prize

Buschjost GmbH has been nominated for the 19th "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" competition which is sponsored by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. This means that the company is among 4,035 nominees from all over Germany who were submitted to the Oskar Patzelt Foundation in Leipzig before 31 January 2013. 393 of the nominated companies are from the competition region of North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the jury, just being nominated is an award in itself.

The competition has been held annually since 1995and has become the most important competition for medium-sized companies in Germany.  "No company can nominate itself for this award and only one company in a thousand is nominated in Germany," says a pleased Oliver Wehking, Managing Director at Buschjost, about the nomination.

Buschjost now has until 15 April to prepare the documents for the judges of the competition region of North Rhine-Westphalia. The competition is based on five criteria: The jury will evaluate the overall development of the company in recent years, the creation and safeguarding of jobs and training opportunities along with modern and innovative ideas put forward by the company. In addition, each contender's contribution in the region, service, marketing and proximity to customers is to be evaluated.

Nominees who meet all the essential criteria are short-listed by the jury. The third and final stage is the so-called awards list which includes all companies that will be presented with the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" award in the autumn.
