Unbeatable in a team with FAS
At FAS, (f.l.t.r.) Ilona Kast, Doris Schulze, Gudrun Rieger, Samuel Sommersall and Stephan Litke (missing in the photo) are
delighted about the new cooperation project.

Improving service while simultaneously optimising costs in order to keep prices as stable as
possible: Once again, Buschjost successfully manages this balancing act by working even more closely
with its sister company FAS – known all over the world as a market leader in the field of fluid system
solutions and micromagnetic valves.
In the autumn of 2006 Buschjost Director, Michael Preinerstorfer, also took over as director of FAS
Deutschland GmbH located in Fellbach in South-West Germany.
Synergies have been created in many areas since taking up this position. For instance, FAS benefits
from direct IT support from Buschjost. FAS also receives assistance from the finance department of
its sister company within the Group.
All joint sales activities have been concentrated under the leadership of Gerd Bahr, Sales Manager
for Europe at Norgren Fluid Controls, and Torsten Bredthauer, Sales Manager for Germany at Norgren
Fluid Controls. This has already resulted in several projects incorporating products from both Buschjost
and FAS, which are used in diverse applications as a systems solution.
April saw another significant step in enhancing customer benefit: FAS introduced Buschjost’s established
ERP software and relocated its warehouse from Fellbach to Bad Oeynhausen. Michael Preinerstorfer
remarks: "Commercial processing and handling of orders and technical advisory services remain in
Fellbach, while goods are dispatched from Bad Oeynhausen. Together with the change-over to the
new software, this means an even greater optimisation of logistics handling – FAS valves can be sent
out to the customers even faster."
