| Direct solenoid actuation |

Valves with this type of actuation do not require any operating or
differential pressure for the switching function, they can operate from 0 bar
upwards.
The sealing element is directly connected to the core. When the solenoid is
de-energised (valve in closed position) the sealing core is pressed onto the
valve seat by the power of the spring, with the help of the fluid pressure (Fig. 1).
When the solenoid is energised the core is drawn in and the valve opens (Fig. 2).
Maximum operating pressure and flow depend directly on the seat diameter (ND)
and the force of the solenoid.
