Cutting Machine Operators manufacture parts from metal using machine processes such as milling or turning. They fit machines and supervise the manufacturing process. To gain an insight into the operational manufacturing processes, they spend time in all of the production departments, e.g. turning, maintenance and valve assembly, during their training.
