Gentle and Cost-Effective Cleaning of Filters
Scavenging carriages with matching fans used to be the main method of gently
cleaning dust filters. Although effective, such systems involve a large number
of moving parts. Buschjost has developed the 82900 and 82960 series of
single-stage filter pulse valves as an innovative alternative. They combine the
advantages of scavenging and pulse cleaning.
The new valves have an extended flow characteristic that cleans the filters with
a steadily increasing volume of air. They work in a similar way and achieve
results comparable with scavenging carriages. Their much flatter flow
characteristic than filter pulse valves provides gentle cleaning of high-quality
filter bags.
There is a choice of internal or external (advisable for extreme conditions) pilot
actuation. Versions are available for dusty gas temperatures of up to 140 degrees.
The strong aluminium body is designed to take DN40 air connection pipes. Its
clever shape allows installation of very compact banks of valves at a spacing
of 120 mm. The actuating solenoids can be simply twisted on and off the body of
the valve for reliable replacement. For a long, maintenance-free service life,
all of the valves are fitted with quality TPE diaphragms that have been subjected
to long-term testing.
