Click-on® Technology for Diaphragm Valves with Forced Lifting up to 2"
Large flow cross sections, suitable for high and vacuum pressures
Click-on® technology used to be the province of pilot operated and "small"
valves with forced lifting. However, its impressive advantages cried out to be
extended to valves with forced lifting.
At the Hanover Fair 2003 Buschjost is introducing the extended 82540 Zero Delta P
series, with solenoid valves with forced lifting from G 1/4 to G2. Catering for
pressures down to 0 demands much higher opening and closing forces than indirect
actuation, which exploits the "servo effect" of the pressure differential.
Buschjost therefore had to develop a completely new solenoid system.
The dry solenoid system is easily fitted and replaced without tools. The captive
stainless steel spring clip holds it securely on the body in all positions.
The solenoid can be stored separately, and is quickly clicked onto the body for
the particular application. The system covers all standard voltages as well as
ATEX approved EEx me explosion protection.
The valves handle a pressure range of 0 to 16 bar and the rough vacuum range
between -0.9 and 0 bar. Options include a manual override designed for inexpensive
retrofitting using an adapter. A screwdriver is all that is needed to manually
open the valve.
