82900/82960 Series of Pulse Valves
For Cleaning Filters

Dust cannot always be prevented in industrial applications. IMI Norgren Buschjost has extended the 82900/82960 series to G 1 1/2 for more efficient and thorough cleaning of fabric filters. These valves can be actuated internally using a solenoid, or externally and indirectly with a pneumatic controller.

Buschjost has provided a Twist-on® bayonet system that allows the solenoid to be replaced quickly and easily in tight spaces. All internal parts are captive.

The design of the body has been optimised to ensure the fast opening, ideal peak pressures and high flow rate essential for effective cleaning of filters. With a G 1 1/2 connection the kv value is 59m3/h. The silencer fitted to all of the valves with internal pilot often avoids the need for additional encapsulation. The recently developed diaphragm with dependable guide system guarantees reliable operation and a long service life in any environment.

The standard version caters for fluid temperatures between -40 und +85°C, and special models for up to 140°C. The filter pulse valves are designed for a pressure from 0.4 to 8 bar. All of the 82960 series from G 3/4 to G 1 1/2 use the same solenoid system for interchangeability. DC and AC models are available for all of the common voltages from 12 to 230V. There are also numerous solenoids with special approvals such as cCSAus.
