Stainless Steel Valves with a Twist
IMI NORGREN Buschjost is introducing its new 82730 series of stainless steel
Click-on® valves at the 2003 Hanover Fair. The established valve manufacturer
has based its major new solenoid valve developments on this trend-setting new
technology since introducing it in the year 2000. The basic idea is simple, but
very effective. Buschjost has separated the two main components, body and solenoid,
for cost-effective storage and quick installation even in narrow installation
environments. The solenoid is simply clicked onto the body without tools to
provide an added service valve for the user.
The valves offer an impressively optimised range of above-average flow rates and
durable technology. They work reliably in any position and are easy to mount where
tall, screw-fixed solenoids would otherwise cause severe problems. The design and
choice of materials for the body and seals make the new stainless steel valves
ideal for use in applications with neutral or slightly aggressive gases and
liquids.
Buschjost uses high grade stainless steel for the valve bodies to make them
suitable for almost any fluid. They come with 1/4 to 1" connections. Seat seals
are available in NBR, EPDM or FPM to suit almost any application and to withstand
temperatures up to 110°C.
These stainless steel valves require a minimum pressure differential of only
0.1 bar to work properly, and are designed for operating pressures of up to
16 bar.
12, 24, 48, 110 or 230V, DC/50/60Hz, as well as ATEX approved EEx solenoids are
available.
International approvals such as UL and CSA are pending or have already been
granted for the new Click-on® series.
