Dust Filter
For more than 25 years Buschjost has been producing components for dust cleaning systems. Based on this experience
and numerous projects with well-known customers, the company develops products that set the market standards in
terms of technology, reliability, functionality and value for money.

Conventional Energies
The importance of power stations will increase worldwide over the coming decades. Covering the global increase
in the demand for energy will require more and more of these plants.
For years the company has been supplying valves for a wide variety of conventional and nuclear power station
applications. These range from dust filter cleaning through water supplies and drainage, flue gas scrubbers and
generator cooling systems to steam generators.
Talk to us to see how we can devise a technical solution for use in power stations that gives you a competitive edge.

Renewable Energies
Buschjost offers a wealth of solutions for the vegetable oil, fuel cell and biogas sector. The materials used
for all these products are exactly matched to the requirements. The valve characteristics have also been developed
for the particular application, with specially tailored actuators rounding off the repertoire.
The fuel cell valves are made of stainless steel or plastic to enable use in contact with, for example,
demineralised water. Proportional technology is used for accurate control.
Stainless steel is employed for the aggressive medium of biogas. These valves have to be designed for very low
pressures.
Vegetable oil valves are fitted with solenoids designed specifically to suit the voltage levels in vehicle
electrical systems.

Hydraulic Systems
Our quiet, auto-switching blocks of directional valves operate on a patented flow back pressure principle.
They allow continual opening and closing of cylinders with reliability and precision, even under extreme conditions.
For over 20 years they have proven effective where electrical actuation of solenoid directional valves is ruled
out in situations such as:
Actuation of various types of compactor (compacted waste container)
Operation of handling systems such as sliding floors, stall mucking-out and charging systems
Cost-effective additional functions such as differential switching (rapid), pressure switch connections, function
base plates and additional modules extend and enhance the range of applications.

Emissions Control
Buschjost’s role in emission control systems arose as a result of regulations on the maximum amount of pollution
a truck can omit. Eventually trucks could not achieve those emission caps without the use of Urea as a reducing
agent of NOx’s. The Urea system in principle works by aqueous Urea being carefully dosed and injected into the
exhaust gas. The aqueous Urea then evaporates and turns partially into Ammonia. Further down stream a
SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalyser then causes the Ammonia to react with the exhaust gas and the
result is a reduction in NOx’s.
